Journal Books in Tally PRIME

Journal Books show list of Non-Cash Vouchers (other than Contra, Payment & Receipt vouchers). Here we discuss about following types of Journal Books :

Journal Register : List of Journal Vouchers
Purchase Register : List of Purchase Vouchers
Debit Note Register : List of Debit Note Vouchers
Debit Note Register : List of Debit Note Vouchers
Credit Note Register : List of Credit Note Vouchers

Accessing Journal Books in Tally PRIME

Journal Books me be accessed as follows:

Go To Main Menu : Select GoT>Display More Reports>Account Books to get Accounts Book Menu (F-1A). All types of Journal Books may be displayed from Account Books Menu.

F-1A: Accounts Books Menu – Accounts Registers Display

Go To Menu Bar: From GoTo Reports list, select Register (F-1B).

Select Show More to show list of all types of Registers Now select the desired Register from the list (F-1C).

Day Book में हर Type के Voucher होते है. Cash / Bank Account सम्बंधित Vouchers के अलावा सारे voucher Journal Books के अंतर्गत होते है. काम की सुविधा के लिए, Journal Book को कई Books में बाँट दिया जाता है (Sales, Purchase, Debit Note, Purchase, Debit Note, Credit Note और Journal Proper : F-1A). Tally में Journal Proper को Journal Register कहते है.

Journal Register in Tally PRIME

Journal Register (also referred as Journal proper), shows the list of Journal Voucher (Non cash Vouchers, i.e other than Contra, Payment & Receipt Voucher), and Non-Trade Vouchers (like Sales, Purchase, Debit Note & Credit Note). So, Journal Register contains only Journal Vouchers (Accounting Adjustment vouchers other than Contra, Payment, Receipt, Debit Note, Purchase, Debit Note & Credit Note vouchers).

Journal Register Display in Tally PRIME

On selection of Journal Register (F-1A / F-1C) as explained, you get Journal Register showing the monthwise voucher numbers / Amount figures. Drill down through any month to get list of Journal Vouchers for the selected month. Click Alt+F2 and enter the period to get the Journal Register showing list of all Journal Vouchers for the specified period (F-2B).

At Journal Book Display , press Ctrl+P to get Journal Register Printing screen. Set the options (mostly similar to Journal Book Configuration screen.

Journal Register in Tally PRIME – Key Points

Menu से Journal Register select करने से Journal Register के नाम पर हर महीने के Journal Voucher संख्या का statement मिलता है. उस से एक महीना select कर उस month के Journal Register देखे. कोई period के Journal Register के लिए F2:Period set करे.
Journal Register में हर Voucher का सिर्फ पहला account का Amount Debit Column में दिखेगा. Detail Format में बाकि सारे account का अमाउंट inner column में Debit /Credit sign के साथ मिलेगा. Credit column में कोई भी figure नहीं दिखेगा. सिर्फ Debit Column का Total दिखेगा (Debit और Credit column का Total बराबर होता है ! )
Journal Register Report में P:Print click कर Journal Book Print करे. Print Report में Debit और Credit column में हर ledger account का amount मिलेगा, लेकिन सिर्फ Debit Column का ही Total मिलेगा

Drill down through any month to get Sales Register showing list of Sales Voucher for the selected month. Sales Register, Purchase Register, Debit Note Register और Credit Note Register सीधा नहीं मिलता. पहले Monthly Summary मिलेगा. फिर selected एक महीना का Register देखे. कोई Period का Register देखने के लिए F2:Period set करे.

इन Register को भी Journal Register के जैसे ही Display (F-4B, F-6B, F-8B, F-10B) और Print (F-5B, F-7B, F-9B, F-11B) करे.
