Cash / Bank Book Display in Tally PRIME

Cash / Bank Book (normally referred as Cash Book) is a special composite Journal Book cum Cash / Bank Account Ledger Book, containing chronological records of all Receipts & Payments during the period & Closing Balance of Cash / Bank Account (like a Ledger Book).

Cash / Bank Books Menu Options in Tally PRIME

Cash/ Bank Books may be accessed from GoT Main Menu or from GoTo Menu, as explained earlier.

  • GoT Main Menu : Select GoT>Display More Reports>Account Books to get Accounts Book Menu (F-1A). Select Cash / Bank Books to get list of Cash / Bank Accounts to display respective Cash / Bank Book

  • Go To Menu Bar :
  1. From GoTo Reports list, select Cash / Bank Book and then select the desired Cash Bank Account
  2. From GoTo Reports list , select Group Reports> Cash / Bank Book and then select the desired Cash Bank Account

Cash / Bank Summary Display in Tally PRIME

The first screen shows the summary of each of the Cash Bank Accounts (Cash Bank Summary : F-3A)

  • At Cash Bank Summary (F-3A), click on (Drill down) any Cash or Bank Account to get Ledger Monthly Summary (Ledger Monthly Summary) for the selected Cash / Bank Account
  • At Ledger Monthly Summary, select a month to display Cash/Bank Account for the selected month

At Cash Bank Summary (F-3A), Click F12:Configure and set the Cash Bank Summary Configuration options (F-3B).

Cash/ Bank Book Report के  लिए  GoT>Display More reports>Accounts Books>Cash Bank Book (F-1A), या Go To>Cash Bank Book>Group Reports>Cash/ Bank Books select करे (F-2A / F-2B). पहले  Cash / Bank Summary मिलेगा.

Cash / Bank Book Format and Contents in Tally PRIME

The Cash Book (Ledger Voucher) display shows following details, for the selected Cash / Bank Account (F-4A).

  • Voucher Details : All transactions involving the selected Cash / Bank account, and complementary Ledger accounts in the voucher
  • Opening Balance : Opening Balance of Cash & Bank Accounts for the specified period, at the bottom of the Report
  • Current Total : Total of debits / Credits of the transaction for the selected period, in respective Debit / Credit column
  • Closing Balance : Closing balance for the end of the period, either in the Debit / Credit column, as per computed Closing Balance (normally at Debit column for Cash & Bank Accounts, Credit column for Bank OCC/OD Accounts).

Additional details are displayed as per configuration options set.

Report Display में  Cash Bank Book के  नाम  का  कोई  report नहीं  है . Cash Bank Account के  Ledger Voucher display (F-4A) ही  Cash Bank Book के  जैसे  है .

Cash / Bank Summary Dsiplay (F-3A) से  Cash / Bank Ledger Account select करे. Selected Cash / Bank Account के  monthly summary मिलेगा (F-3A). उस  से  month select करे . Selected month के  Ledger Voucher list मिलेगा (F-4A), जिसे Tally में Cash Bank Book कहा  जाता  है . Selected period के  Cash Bank Book के  लिए  F2:Period set करे. Cash Bank Book असल  में  Cash Bank Ledger Report की  तरह  ही  है.

Cash Bank Book Printing in Tally PRIME

At Cash / Bank Book Display (F-4A), Click P:Print button to get Cash / Bank Book Printing screen (F-5A). Click C:Configure (to set Printing Configuration options / I:preview (to preview the Report on screen) / P:Print (to preview the Report on screen)

F-5A: Cash Bank Book Printing

The printed Format of Cash / Bank Book shows Opening Balance at the beginning, followed by transactions and finally the Totals / Closing Balance (F-5B), while in Display format, the Transactions are shown first and Totals / Balance shown at the end .

जैसे  की  Report Printing में बताया  गया  है, Cash Bank Ledger Voucher report (F-4A) में  Ctl+P Type कर  Cash / Bank Book Printing (F-5A) से (C:Configure) कर (F-5B)  P:Print button से Printer में  Cash Bank Book Print  करे (F-5B).

  • Cash / Bank Book एक  तरह  का  Cash / Bank Account Ledger Book ही  है . इसलिए , Cash Bank Book को  Ledger Book option से  भी  Print कर  सकते  है.
  • Display Format में  Cash / Bank Account के  Ledger Voucher दीखता  है, जिसमे   पहले  Transactions दीखता  है , Total और  Closing Balance last में  दीखता  है . लेकिन  Print Format में  सही  तरीके  से  Opening Balance, फिर  Transactions और  अंत  में  Total / Closing Balance दीखता  है.
