New Learning methodologies for Students
There is gradual shift towards new learning, teaching, and student evaluation methodologies with focus on competency-based education, emphasizing conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and real-world application. New curriculum now integrates project-based learning, digital tools, and regular formative assessments to ensure continuous student engagement and personalized learning. Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on holistic development, mental well-being, and vocational skills, preparing students for both academic success and future careers. It is reflected in following Key changes in CBSE K11-12 curriculum:
- Shift from Rote Learning to Conceptual Understanding: Focus on in-depth understanding of concepts rather than memorisation.
- Competency-Based Education: Emphasis on applying knowledge in real-world scenarios through practical assessments.
- Reduced Syllabus: Streamlined syllabus to focus on core concepts and reduce student stress.
- Integration of Technology: Utilization of digital tools and resources for teaching, learning, and assessments.
- Balanced Assessment: Combination of formative (ongoing) and summative (final) assessments for continuous evaluation.
- Project-Based Learning: Increased emphasis on project work to foster research, experimentation, and practical application of knowledge.
- Focus on Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Assessments designed to evaluate critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Holistic Development: Emphasis on overall student development, including co-curricular activities, life skills, and values-based education.
- Regular Feedback and Mentoring: Regular feedback and guidance to students from teachers for continuous improvement.
- Skill Development: Focus on developing vocational skills such as communication, digital literacy, and practical skills relevant to future careers.
- Reduced Weightage of Board Exams: Decreased weightage of board exams with increased emphasis on internal assessments.
- Use of Technology in Teaching and Learning: Increased utilization of online learning platforms and digital resources in the teaching-learning process.
So, we take up Multiple choice Questions, which emphasises critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills of student, instead of rote cramming and memorisation, to write long answers.

Video Premieres are uploaded regularly, as per schedule. Interested perosns may email their Name, with WhatsApp Number to dvidyamail@gmail.com.
Each Video Premiere session will explain a set of 10 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), with deliberation on:
- Central Intent of the Question
- Logical analysis of each option and inference about truth of each option
- Conclusion and Inference of the correct option.
To encourage participation of students, a set of 5 Questions will be asked. Each student will submit Answer to these Questions in following manner.
1. Writing the Answer
1.1 Write student name, email, mobile number in A4 size paper, at the top.
1.2 Next write the explanation of each option, conclusion and inference of correct options as explained.
1.3 Scan the answer sheet through a document scanner App, using smartphone, saving the scanned files in PDF Format.
2. Recording the Answer
2.1 The student should preferably Record the answer in a Video, in MP4 format, or
2.2 Alternatively, the student may audio record the answer in .wav or .mp3 format
3. Sharing the Answer
Send the Answer scan copy and recorded Video / Audio File by email to dvidyamail@gmail.com.
The best answer will be broadcast in next premiere session.
