FAQ : Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ-01 My Sales bills are prepared manually at my shop, where I cannot keep computer due to space constraints and rush. But I like to maintain accounts and inventory in computer so that I can get stock figures and all reports upto date. How do I enter the Sales and Purchase Bill quickly
In this case, as all the figures of sales bill (product value, tax discount, net bill amount) etc are already available in manual bill, you may enter the bill in voucher mode, instead of invoice mode for faster and accurate entry. At Sale voucher (Gateway>Accounts Voucher>F8: Sales) or purchase voucher entry (Gateway>Accounts Voucher>F9: Purchase), click V:As Voucher button. Now enter the ledger accounts. When you enter an Inventory linked ledger account (like Sales, Purchase), you get the Inventory allocation screen, where you enter the Stock Item details (Item name, Quantity, UoM, Value) from the manual sales voucher and supplier’s purchase voucher.
