Balance Sheet in Tally PRIME

Balance Sheet shows all the Assets & Liabilities at the close of the specified Date. The Balance Sheet contains 2 major parts, Liabilities & Assets, divided by a vertical line (F-2B).

  • Liabilities  (or Credit Side) :The Left Part shows the top level Groups of Capital (Funds Owned, by the organisation, like Capital & Reserves) & Liabilities (Funds Owed, by the organization, like Loans & other Liabilities).
  • Assets  (or Debit Side): The Right Part contains the top Assets Groups (all Assets possessed by the organization, like Fixed Assets, Investments  & Current Assets).

The figures represent the Major Account Group totals of Net Amount of all Ledger Accounts under the respective Group.

Current Year Profit Loss : The current year net Profit / Loss carried from P L Statement is shown separately at the end.

Select GoT > Balance Sheet (F-1A), or select Go To > Balance Sheet  (F-1B) to get Balance Sheet (F-2B) as at end of the Current Period.

At Balance Sheet display (F-2B), click F12:Configure and set up the options for contents of Balance Sheet (F-2A)

Balance Sheet Printing in Tally PRIME

At Balance Sheet  Display (F-2B), click P:Print to get the Balance Sheet  printing screen (F-3A). Click C:Configure to set the Printing options. Click I:Preview to preview the Report before Printing. Click P:Print to print the report on printer.

Ratio Analysis in Tally PRIME

To display key performance ratios, select GoT>Ratio Analysis to get Ratio Analysis Report (F-4B).

F-4A: Ratio Analysis Display

Click F12:Configure and set Configuration options (F-4A). You may further drill down to related reports through any of the figures in Ratio Analysis.

Balance Sheet – Key Points

  • Balance Sheet printing के  पहले, Closing Stock Value और  सारे  Journal Adjustment entry कर  ले.
  • Configuration में  या  Printing में  Show Vertical Balance Sheet में  Yes कर  Vertical Format में  Display / Print करे.
  • Balance Sheet Printing में  Show Vertical Balance Sheet में  Yes कर   Working Capital details print करे. Working Capital Display का  कोई  option नहीं, लेकिन  Print Preview   से Working Capital view कर  सकते  है.
  • Ratio Analysis Display में  कोई  भी  Item drill down कर  उसका  details देख  सकते. F12:Configuration options (F-4A) set कर  Ratio Analysis के  Formula भी  Display कर  सकते.
