Accounts Balance Sheet Display in Tally
We have explained the contents and format of Balance Sheet. Here, we discuss about various configuration options to customise the format & contents of Balance Sheet
At Gateway of Tally, select Balance Sheet (or GoT>Final Accounts>Balance Sheet) to get Balance Sheet Display .

At Balance Sheet Display , click F12:Coniguration to get Balance Sheet Configuration screen .

Set the following options as desired.
Format : The Balance Sheet may be shown in following 2 formats. At Show Vertical Balance Sheet
- T Format : Set No to show Balance Sheet in T (Normal) Format showing Liabilities / Assets in two separate sides (F-1A).
- Loss Display : If you have set No at Show Vertical Balance Sheet, at option Profit or Loss both, set
- Yes at Profit or Loss both as Liability to display Loss even in Liability side.
- Set No to show Profit at Liability side & Loss at Asset Side
- Loss Display : If you have set No at Show Vertical Balance Sheet, at option Profit or Loss both, set
- Vertical Format: Set Yes to show Balance Sheet in Vertical format (showing Sources & Application of Funds, one after another :
Working Capital : At Show Working Capital Figures :
- Set Yes to show the Balance Sheet in the format of Application of Funds & Sources of Fund with Working Capital figures (Net of Current Liabilities & Current Assets).
- Set No to show the figures of Current Assets & Current Liabilities separately
Form: The Liabilities & Assets parts may be shown in desired side as follows. At Method of Showing Balance Sheet, set as follows:
- Select Liabilities & Assets to show Liabilities in left side and Assets at right side (popularly used by Indian organizations :.
- Select Assets / Liabilities to show in the reverse direction, i.e Assets in left side and Liabilities at right side (popularly used by American organizations).

At Balance Sheet Display screen , you get the following Buttons
- Format :
- Click F1:Detail button to show the next level details
- Click F1:Condesned button (default) to show figures of Top Level Primary Groups only
- Schedule VI: Click S:Schedule VI button to get Schedule VI of Balance Sheet

At Balance Sheet Display , click P:Print button to get Balance Sheet printing screen showing printing options similar to Display Configuration. Set the printing options (like Configuration options) to get Balance Sheet in Print, similar to Display.
