Materials Purchase and Sales Order Outstanding Report in Tally
In previous chapter, we have discussed various Order reports. Here we discuss exclusively about Open Orders (Orders which have not yet been fully executed) for intense tracking of pending orders.
Materials Purchase and Sales Order Outstanding Reports menu in Tally
Order Outstanding Reports show the Open Order Statement (Orders which has not been fully executed) for :
- Sales Order Outstanding
- Purchase Order Outstanding
At Gateway of Tally, select Display> Statement of Inventory to get Statement of Inventory Menu. At Statement of Inventory Menu

Stock Item Group Sales Order Outstanding in Tally
AtSales Order Outstanding Menu, select Stock Group and then select a Stock Group (or select Primary for Reports of all Primary Stock Groups) to get Stock Group Sales Order Outstanding report for selected Stock Group .

At Stock Group Sales Order Outstanding, click F12:Configure to get Stock Group Sales Order Outstanding Configuration, to set the options as follows :

Common Options for sections : The following options apply tothe activated column sections (Opening Orders / Orders Booked / Orders Cleared / Pending Orders).
- Item Quantity : At Show Quantities (at F1:Detailed Format) :
- Set Yes to show Quantity of Items (at Quantity column) of Sales Order,
- Set No Quantity column is not shown
- Item Rates : At Show Rates (at F1:Detailed Format) :
- Set Yes to show Rate of Items (at Rate column) of Sales Order
- Set No Rate column is not shown
- Item Value : At Show Value (at F1:Detailed Format) :
- Set Yes to show Value of Items (at Rate column) of Sales Order
- Set No. Value column is not shown
Quantity, Rate & Value details are not shown in Condensed Format (when F1:Condensed Button is clicked)
Column section Activation : Set the option for respective section . You must activate (set Yes) at least one of the following sections (Pending Orders section get activated by default).
- Opening Orders : At Show Opening Orders,
- Set Yes to show the activated columns (Quantity / Rate / Value) of Opening Order figures at Opening Order section
- Set No. Opening Orders section is not shown.
- Booked Orders : At Show Orders Booked,
- Set Yes to show the activated columns (Quantity / Rate / Value) of Booked Order figures at Orders Booked section
- Set No. Order Booked section is not shown.
- Executed Orders : At Show Cleared Orders,
- Set Yes to show the activated columns (Quantity / Rate / Value) of Executed Order figures at Cleared Orders section
- Set No. Cleared Orders section is not shown.
- Pending Orders : At Show Pending Orders,
- Set Yes to show the activated columns (Quantity / Rate / Value) of Executed Order figures at Pending Orders section
- Set No. Pending Orders section is not shown.
- All Item Details : At Show All Items (incl zero balance),
- Set Yes to show the details of all orders booked even if the order has been fully executed (zero pending order)
- Set No. Particulars of fully exerted orders (No Pending Order) are not shown

At Stock Group Sales Order Outstanding, you get the following buttons,

- F1:Detailed / Condensed : At F1:Detailed / Condensed toggle button :
- Click F1:Detailed to show next level Item / Group Details
- Click F1:Condensed to show top level Item / Group Details
- F4: Group : To select an Item Group from the list of Groups (select Primary for All Stock Groups)
- F5: Itemwise / Grouped : At F5: Itemwise / Grouped, toggle button
- Click F5: Itemwiseto list the Items I alphabetical order
- Click F5: Groupedto list the Stock Groups / Stock Items in hierarchical order
- F7: Orders : To select Type of Values from the Order Type list .

AtPurchase Order Outstanding Menu, select Stock Group and then select a Stock Group (or select Primary for Reports of all Primary Stock Groups) to get Stock Group Purchase Order Outstanding report for selected Stock Group.

AtSales Order Outstanding Menu, select Stock Category and then select a Stock Category (or select Primary for Reports of all Primary Stock Category) to get Stock Category Sales Order Outstanding report for selected Stock Category.
